The Grand Exchange Market Watch is a project set up to monitor and record the prices and other information on items on the Grand Exchange.
An index is a method of measuring the value of a section of the market. It is computed from the prices of selected items. In a price-weighted index such as the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) , the price of each component item is the only consideration when determining the value of the index. Items may be removed or added to indices over time, but the index will remain "neutral" when that happens, following the method that the Wall Street Journal uses when the DJIA is adjusted.
