Episode 4 is not PG appropriate

It's worth noting that episode 4 (as of writing this, the latest one) features notably more violence than past episodes and makes the PG rating of this show highly questionable. The episode features multiple people being stabbed with knives. While there is no visible blood, it's clear one character being stabbed in the back dies and falls of a balcony. The body is seen hitting the ground. Episodes 1-3 seemed suitable for kids around 10, but I would not show this episode to anyone under 13 at the very least.

Not the stereotypical Muslim family representation you would see in Hollywood

The show presents Muslims as normal everyday people ( like any normal family), and not the usual negative stereotypes Hollywood has been painting them for decades. The show is light, funny, above all they casted Pakistanis to authentically represent a Pakistanis family/ community. The show is not vulgar so I can watch it with my 8 year old as well. Very happy and impressed by the entire team and the entire concept of Ms. marvel. Hats off!

Caveats

Dating, kissing, boyfriends, girlfriends. Mention of cocaine. Cosplay, bikinis, short skirts, partying. Use of the Pakastani racial word "gora" which means "white people".

Great role model for young tweens.

Our 9yo tween loved it. Mild violence, action, no blood but an obvious death. Held her interest and asked to see more.

The Avengers are murdered one by one by an unseen assassin. The Hulk's death is particularly gruesome (he swells up and pops into a cloud of vaporized hulk blood).
