Joey, who originally appeared on The Bachelorette season 20 with Charity Lawson, was able to get his own chance at finding love on the following season of The Bachelor. It reads ‘pace e gioia’ in my grandmothers handwriting, which means “peace and joy” in Italian,” Joey explained in the post, sharing a few photos of the tattoo and his family all getting matching ink.

“My Grandma wanted to get this tattoo for herself. So my family decided to get it in her honor,” Joey revealed. The tattoo, a simple line of script on the back of Joey’s arm above his elbow, is sentimental for his entire family. With two items crossed off Joey’s list, many are wondering what The Bachelor star will get up to next.

Thus far, Joey has crossed two items off his list since his birthday in late May. Prior to getting his most recent tattoo, Joey and Kelsey traveled to Europe and visited Portugal, crossing off his wish to go to a new European country.
