hat’s more than just a phrase. Goldendoodles are wonderful dogs with so many great qualities! But it’s important to know the different categories and what they mean. An F-1B is one of the best to be had because it is 3/4 Poodle to 1/4 Golden Retriever. That means you get just enough Retriever to blend in the wonderful Retriever disposition but not enough for the shedding that Goldens are known for. Poodles, on the other hand, are such light shedders that you usually won’t find any trace of them even after they’ve been laying around on the couch. The “Dog Breed Info Center” has this to say about it. “F-1B is the MOST likely of any doodle to be non-shedding and allergy-friendly, and is the easiest coat to take care of.”

In order to achieve the most superior puppies, not only is it important to breed in 2 generations of poodle to firmly incorporate the non-shedding factor into their makeup, it is even more important to ensure that the parent dogs are uncompromised with any health issues that could be passed on to their offspring.

Knight Doodles has done extensive research before acquiring each F-1 Goldendoodle and each registered Poodle. Every dog in our kennel was acquired from proven reputable breeders and they were thoroughly health tested. We traveled the country to find the best Goldendoodles and Poodles for our breeding stock.
