Their first city derby of the season comes on October 28, when Erik ten Hag’s side welcome Premier League champions Manchester City to Old Trafford. The reverse fixture is scheduled for March 2.
United travel to Anfield on December 16, and will host Liverpool on April 6. They end their campaign at Brighton and will be hoping to at least emulate last season’s showing, where they finished third in Ten Hag’s first year in charge.

Manchester United begin the new season with a Monday night fixture against Wolves, a fixture that has seen many a frustrating and scrappy performance. Erik ten Hag’s side performed the double against their familiar foe last season, a sign of their recent improvement.
Ten Hag will be wary of the month of December, where United will face Newcastle, Chelsea, Bournemouth, West Ham, Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest in short order. The return of the Champions League in mid-September will follow a game against Arsenal on the 2nd, followed by games against Brighton, Burnley and Crystal Palace.
The Manchester Derby will return on 28 October at Old Trafford, and United will reignite their rivalry with Liverpool on 16 December at Anfield. For away fans looking to same new stadia, a trip to Luton comes on 17 February.
When will the TV fixtures be confirmed?
Last summer, Sky Sports and BT Sport revealed their televised picks for the opening weekend when the fixtures were released.
They then confirmed in mid-July their TV picks up until the middle of September.
As a minimum, the Premier League aims to alert supportersof changes based onTVscheduling at leastsix weeksbefore the match is due to take place.
This year, there will be one significant change with BT Sport being rebranded as TNT Sports from July.As The Athletic reported in detail here, it has been stressed that the transition will be seamless and the only noticeable change will be in name.
US fans were able to watch or stream all 380 Premier League games in 2022-23 and will be able to do so again, with NBC’s current deal — including streaming service Peaco*ck — running until 2028.
Key dates — 2023-24 Premier League season

The game is usually between the Premier League andFA Cupwinners, but with City claiming both, the second final spot goes to the Premier League runners-up.
